What to Expect
Please accept our invitation to join us for worship this Sunday at 10:45am. We know checking out a new church may seem a little awkward at first so we’ve attempted to answer some of the questions you may have prior to your visit.

When You Arrive

When you pull into our lot on the upper level nearest the main entrance, you’ll find designated handicapped and senior adult parking. In our lower lot, you’ll find designated “Guest Parking.” At our main entrance, a member of our First Impressions Team will greet you with a warm smile and friendly handshake. They’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have, direct you to a classroom, the restrooms, or the sanctuary. If you have children they’ll be happy to introduce you to a member of our Kids’ Central team.
Stop by the coffee shop and grab a hot cup. It’s a great place to find a friend and get to know more about Central.

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable! What you’re wearing is our lest concern so come dressed up or come dressed down. We’re certain you’ll feel right at home however you choose to dress.

What happens on Sundays?

We have live, upbeat music as well as intimate songs of worship. Everyone worships in their own unique way. For many, that means singing, clapping and raising their hands, and for others it means quiet reflection. At Central Assembly, you’re welcome to do what comes from the heart in praise to God. Part of the beauty of being Pentecostal is the freedom to respond to God just as the Holy Spirit directs you as an individual.
Each week there is a time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives Central Assembly the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.
There will be a time when those who need special prayer are invited to come to the altar. They will be met by a member of our Prayer Team who’ll agree with them in prayer for a touch from God.
In every service you will hear a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. These messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.

What will my kids do?

Children are an important part of church life at Central Assembly. We provide a safe and secure ministry for children of all ages. A member of our First Impressions Team will be sure to direct you to where the children’s ministries take place.

We have Sunday school classes for all ages. Kids Central is a ministry for children in grades K-6 and meets on Sunday mornings at 10:30. Of course, children are always welcome to stay with their parents in the sanctuary service as well.

What happens on Wednesday nights?

Wednesday night at Central is our Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF). Our pastor teaches an in-depth Bible study class in a laid back environment with plenty of reflection and discussion.
Boys in grades PreK-5 are encouraged to participate in Royal Rangers, an activity-based, small group ministry for boys. It is similar to scouting with a spiritual emphasis. Their mission is to evangelize, equip and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.
Girls in grades PreK-5 are encouraged to participate in our Girls Ministry, an intentional outreach and Christian discipleship. Our goal is to see every girl moving toward a deep relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to empower girls to realize their importance and potential in the kingdom of God.
Students in grades 6-12 have a mid-week worship service designed especially for them. The mission of Illuminate Student Ministry is to win, build and send students for the cause of Jesus Christ.

Will I have to do anything?

Just sit back and relax…or jump in with both feet! We know your checking us out and trying to take it all in. We promise not to draw attention to you. We’re certain you’ll feel welcome, loved, and wanted at Central–that’s just who we are. Inside our weekly bulletin you’ll find a Connect Card. We ask that you fill it out so we many have a record of your attendance and drop it in the offering bucket when it comes around. If you’d rather not give us your contact information, we understand. However if you do, we’ll simply give you a call to say thanks for worshipping with us and ask if you’d like to know more about the church.
